Community groups and individuals can help to create a cleaner and healthier Wicomico County by volunteering to clean up litter and roadside debris.

Why participate?

• There is no cost to you or your group. The County will provide clean-up materials, retrieve the trash from your clean-up project and cover the cost of dumping.

How it works:

• Download the application form, complete and email to cleanupwicomico@wicomicocounty.org.
• Public Works will review your application. You will be contacted within five business days regarding project approval.
• Members of your clean-up group should complete a volunteer waiver and release.
• Submit completed waivers and pick up supplies (trash bags, pickers, safety vests, etc.) at Solid Waste.
• Perform your clean-up on scheduled day. Leave trash bags on site for pick-up.
• You are encouraged to take before-and-after photos of your clean-up site and email them to cleanupwicomico@wicomicocounty.org.
• Return unused trash bags, pickers and safety vests to Solid Waste.
