Planning, Zoning and Community Development


The Wicomico County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on June 16, 2022 at 1:30 PM to hear from proponents and opponents on proposed text amendments to the Wicomico County Code – Section 225 Zoning for private solar energy systems.  The Public Hearing will be held in the Council Chambers (Room 301) of the Government Office Building, 125 N. Division Street, Salisbury, MD. 21803. 

Prior to an action of the Wicomico County Planning and Zoning Commission, written comments about the proposed text amendments can be submitted during a 30-day public review and comment period extending from June 3, 2022 through July 2, 2022 at 5:00 PM E.S.T.  Comments can be submitted via the following methods: delivered or mailed to the Salisbury-Wicomico County Planning and Zoning Commission, Government Office Building, 125 N. Division Street, Room 203, Salisbury, Maryland 21803; e-mail; or fax 410-548-4955.  In addition, public comments can be made in person at the Public Hearing.
