The Division continues to be the coordinating agency for Wicomico County in the implementation and the distribution of the State Highway Safety Grant.
This allows funding for all law enforcement agencies in Wicomico County to designate extra patrols for DWI safety, seatbelt and child safety seat compliance and other highway safety concerns, such as agressive driving..
The Division conducted underage tobacco and alcohol sales compliance checks in Wicomico County.
K-9 support was provided for law enforcement agencies in Wicomico County as well as other jurisdictions on the Lower Eastern Shore as requested.
The Division transported prisoners throughout the State of Maryland and extradited prisoners from sites throughout the country.
