Cpl. Alessandrini and K-9 Hero

Cpl. Alessandrini began working for the Fruitland Police Dept. in June 1996. In July 1999, he became a Deputy with the Sheriff's Office. He joined the K-9 Unit in October 1999, and worked with K-9 Donny until his retirement in May 2003. Alessandrini and K-9 Hero began patrolling in June 2003. Hero is trained and cerified in patrol work, tracking, drug detection, and protection. Alessandrini has been the K-9 Unit Supervisor since 2004.
