Request for
Quotations
($1000 - $5000)
The County's Purchasing Regulations require that all purchases up to $5,000 be made by written requests for quotations or telephone quotes. The procedure follows:
| 1. A written request for Quotation (RFQ) or telephone quotes are made. |
| 2. As quotes are received, they are tabulated and evaluated. |
| 3. The lowest and best quote is selected and an award is made. |
| 4. A formal purchase order is prepared and issued. |
