Athol Road Closure

The Wicomico County Public Works Department plans to replace the Athol Road Bridge at Rewastico Pond.

The bridge is approximately 6.5 miles south of the intersection of Athol Road and “Maryland State Route 50’ as shown on the enclosed map with proposed detour routing. Click here to see Map with detour routes

This a formal notification that the above road and bridge will be closed during the construction of this project.

Anticipated closure dates are Jan 1, 2007 to mid April 2007.

Wicomico County Public Works would appreciate your help in contacting all appropriate personnel in your office about the proposed detours. Just prior to the closure, appropriate signage, will be posted and the detour will be put in place.
