David A. MacLeod, age 71, was elected for
his first term as County Council representing District 4 in November 2006. He is retired from the State of Maryland after nearly three decades of directing alcohol
and drug abuse programs in Allegany, Washington and Worcester
Counties. He is also retired from the U.S. Army
serving twenty two years in the regular and reserve components. He is the Past President of the Wicomico
Commission on Aging and serves on numerous community boards such as MAC, Inc., Hudson Health Services, Poplar Hill
Mansion, and Democratic
Club. Mr. MacLeod and his wife Joan have
been married for forty six years and have five grown children and fourteen
grandchildren.
