Animal Control
Animal Control is provided to Wicomico County as a contracted service by the Humane Society of Wicomico County. The officers operate from the Humane Society facility, but are a separate division from the Humane Society functions. They can be contacted at the above number for animal control issues in the County. City of Salisbury utilizes their own Animal Control Officers dispatched from the police department. For animal control issues in the Salisbury City Limits, please call 410-548-3165.
We will take comments via e-mail, however we must have your contact information if you are submitting an official complaint or concern to allow an officer to speak with someone personally and get all the details. This is to allow the officer to handle the situation promptly, professionally, and efficiently. We do NOT disclose any caller’s information unless required by law.
