County Internal Auditor

Salary: $35,034 - $70,069 DOQ Full range of benefits
Duties: Responsible
for audits of a variety of funds and programs; evaluates internal controls;
prepares data for studies, reports, and recommendations; determines compliance
with funding source requirements; reviews and evaluates programs and services. This
position serves at the pleasure of the County Council.
Requirements: Graduation
from a college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Minimum of
three years of audit experience. Required: Certified Public
Accountant certification and experience in financial management including
internal auditing. Working knowledge of Microsoft
Office suite of PC programs. Capable of maintaining highly professional
and confidential work atmosphere.
