Reducing Childhood Hunger
The Reducing Childhood Hunger programs provide food to food insecure families with children in Wicomico County on the weekends, professional days, and during holidays when the schools cannot provide the students with meals.

Family Education
The Family Education Program focuses on building family strengths and focus on meeting the family’s needs by promoting parent involvement and increasing resources for families.

Navigation
The Navigation program assists families and children with navigating resources, specifically housing related resources and assistance. The program is geared toward families with minor children, youth and families impacted by incarceration, however, will not turn away other families in need.

Youth Homelessness
The Homeless Youth Drop In Center Program will focus on reducing youth homelessness and identifying youth that are homelessness. To assist in providing resources to meet youth where they are by providing accesses to community housing stability resources, providing a safe place for peer support, access to washing and hygiene, physical and mental health referrals, and self-expression.

Trauma Informed Care
Trauma Informed Care program provides continuing education to all Wicomico County behavioral health providers in trauma informed care. Additionally, it provides Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) training for Wicomico County clinicians who provide therapy services for youth up to age 18.

Healthy Families Wicomico
Home visitation program that supports & assist parents to promote health, learning & development in their young children.

Youth Workforce Development
Provides mentoring and coordination of employment services, education resources, and budgeting education for youth ages 16-24 in Wicomico County who have either not completed high school, are at risk for homelessness, or are currently homeless.

Truancy and Absenteeism
This program has been designed to address the root causes of truancy and absenteeism in Wicomico County Schools. The primary objectives of this program are to assess root causes of students’ truancy and absenteeism, connect students to resources and overcome related barriers, provide Individualized support to promote student accountability and educational success, and prevent need for legal intervention.

Early Childhood Aces
Provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for very young children and provides available resources based on the results. Caregivers of children being evaluated are also offered an attachment-based parenting class.

Local Care Team
Parents, family members or agencies make referrals directly to the Local Care Teams to seek assistance with accessing services, to develop plans of care for community-based services and to coordinate services from multiple agencies. Families and children at risk of out-of-home placement or out-of-state placement, with complex needs and/or who are in crisis are identified as priorities for the Local Care Teams.

Birth to 5 Early Learning Center Quality Improvement
Provides continuing education for early learning centers and day care providers to improve outcomes for children and increase school readiness.

Promoting Positive Outcomes for Infants and Toddlers
Provides attachment-based learning for children identified as experiencing ACEs or at risk for experiencing ACEs. It also provides funding for substitutes for at-home daycare providers.
