Responsibilities

Issues licenses for electricians to do work within Wicomico County and the incorporated towns. The board hears complaints regarding work done by electricians and complaints of work being done without authorization. The board oversees county license testing for master electricians, general electricians, and limited license electricians.

Please fill out the Board of Electrical Examiners Complaint Form and include any additional documentation you would like the board to review.  Once processed, you will receive a letter in the mail requesting your attendance at the monthly Board meeting, held on the first Wednesday of the month at 5:00 PM in Council Chambers, Room 301 of the Government Office Building, so that you may provide testimony.
