GED
Inmates have the opportunity to participate in a GED program if they wish to earn their General Equivalency Diploma while incarcerated.
Medical / Mental Health
Inmates will receive the necessary medical / mental health attention from the Detention Center’s healthcare providers. Medical / mental health treatment and all prescriptions are provided as deemed appropriate. Inmates who wear eye glasses but do not have them on his / her person may contact either Deputy Director for approval to have them brought in.
Religious Services
Inmates have the ability to participate in religious services. Please contact the Chaplain for more information.
Work Release
Work Release privileges are authorized the the sentencing judge. Approval for work release status is determined by the Director. Participants receive an additional set of rules and regulations. Since the work release program is a privilege, those participants who violate the program rules and regulations may be removed and returned back to general population. All male inmates assigned to work release or community service status are housed in the Work Release Housing Unit.
